Going for a new domain for you’re wordpress blog?

If you happen to be planning on moving you’re Wordpress installation, you might have come to the conclusion that you have a variety of things to take care of. For instance, you’re MySQL database has to be backed-up, and imported into the new database, the configuration needs to be redone. Maybe you even want to install a new version of Wordpress while you’re at it.

What if you had some help moving you’re Wordpress to a new domain, wouldn’t that be convenient.

Joost de Valk has set up a 10-step guide on how-to move you’re Wordpress to another domain.

Are you a Wordpress theme designer?

Then you must know like no other that it is a pain to go trough the whole process of creating one. Whether you start from scratch, or strip out the basic html and styling, it is just a pain.

Elliot Jay Stocks’ barker wordpress theme

Most of that can belong to the past now, as Elliot Jay Stocks has brewed a solution, he stripped the whole of Wordpress for you, and made it into a ‘naked theme’, free for anyone to download.

I for one, am going to try this out on my next (probably this site) wordpress theme.
